Nice bowls
These are nice and sturdy. Salads look great in them and I love that they are micro/dishwasher/oven/freezer-safe. Also - I use the medium-sized one as a double-boiler by placing it on top of a pot of simmering water... Great for melting chocolate!

Very nice bowls!
These are very attractive and high quality - heavy weight and substantial. They are deep enough, and the sides are sufficiently vertical, so that they function very well as mixing bowls, but they also are attractive enough to use as serving bowls. And if memory serves, they also go in the over, the freezer, and the microwave. What more could one ask? Maybe they have a brother at home ... .

Great Bowls!
I was looking for durable mixing bowls and had purchased them based on the reviews. Although I still love my Pyrex, I find these bowls deeper & heavier thus making it a better bowl for using an electric mixer. Just used them tonight for popcorn also.
I could not find the 4qt size in stores so I'm glad that it was available on Amazon.
