Average customer review:Product Description
A multi-purpose Bible study resource tool. All the essentials you need to study the biblical text without having to know Hebrew or Greek. Provides definition, explanation, and concordance entries.
Dr. James Strong, formerly professor of exegetical theology at Drew Theological Seminary, spent more than thirty-five years preparing his landmark concordance. First published in 1890 with the help of more than one hundred colleagues, Strong's remains the definitive concordance compiled on the King James Version of the Bible.
W. E. Vine, M.A. (1873-1949) was a classical scholar, skilled expositor, and a trustworthy theologian. Recognized internationally for his outstanding Greek scholarship, his Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, first published in 1939, represents the fruit of his lifetime labors and is an unsurpassed classic in its field.

Customer Reviews
A Good Reference
I'm disappointed that this product has only a 3.5 star rating. It's a concise reference, not an exhaustive end-all answer book to the Bible. Perhaps too many reviewers had unrealistic expectations. My only complaint is that the Greek and Hebrew letters aren't printed in the dictionary section, for further study. All in all, it is a good source to have alongside during personal study (but this thing is THICK, so I wouldn't reccomend lugging it around to a Bible study or sermon).
Great for beginners
For the beginner, this is a good reference to have. However, if you are serious and want all of the detail, then do not buy this version.
Handy Reference, However Does NOT Contain Lexicons
Anyone who uses Strong's Concordance regularly has undoubtedly come to rely on the lexicons for a deeper understanding of the Holy Scriptures. This edition contains only the first part of Strong's, that is, the verse citations by keyword.
This is a great volume for young students or for those who are not interested in the original languages of the books of the Holy Bible.
Others would be better served by investing in the unabridged New Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible and a separate dictionary.
