This one is very user friendly, like 'Aleph Isn't Tough'. You’ll enjoy learning with it. One reviewer described it as 'Biblical Hebrew Without Tears.' Buy it next (or first), then BBH (below).

BBH is one of the best Hebrew grammars available. It's used in many seminaries, and it's very comprehensive. It's not fun like the first two books I mentioned, but if you're serious about learning Hebrew, it's a solid investment. This is the second edition, released in 2007. (You can probably find a good deal on the 2001 edition [if you want to be cheap]: ISBN: 0310237602.)

Contains 'All words occurring ten times or more in the Hebrew Bible in descending order of frequency.' Great for memorizing vocabulary.
