The King James version with one of the best biblical resources built right into it. This is a must have. E.W. Bullinger is a biblical genius, and this bible really helps the word of God live for anyone who seeks a knowledge of God. A must have.

I love the Amplified Bible, it really helps give you greater understanding of the bible. It uses brakets [ ] contain clarifying words or comments, and parentheses ( ) signify additional phrases of meaning included in the original word, phrase or clause of the original language (copywrite Zondervan 1995). This text also has the King James in parallel text.

A bible from the aramaic. Has some subtle differences in some passages from the Bibles that were taken from Greek texts. A quality bible indeed. Easy to read, and well worty adding to your collection.

A great book. An excellent read, and very informative concerning The Bible's use of pneuma hagion (holy spirit). I would have figures of speech (by the same author and it's on this list) by you while you read this.

I don't own this yet but it's on my to get list. I've seen it once, and it looks really cool. I feel it will help me in my study.

Easier to read than Hilop's "The Two Babylons." Less than 200 pages, and full of great information.

A cool lexicon and concordance. I like it, but it's not my favorite.

I have the New English Bible (older version of this one), and I have to say it's a solid bible. I have not got my hands on this one yet. But I have heard that it is even better. It has gotten great reviews from those who I deeply respect the opinion of.

The Revised Standard Version is one of the best versions of the bible on the market. This one is made well. However, I could have easily have done without notes in it. The histories on the books are 100% from a secular perspective. So buy this version because it's built well, not for the notes by the editors.
