Amazon.com Review
Protect your hands from hot pot handles with this slip-on handle mitt. From Lodge, maker of rugged cast-iron cookware, the mitt features heavy-duty Pyrotex fabric on the exterior, along with a scorch-proof coating. Inside, a thick terry lining feels comfortable against the skin, and thick cotton batting between the two layers adds further heat and steam protection. Heat-resistant up to 495 degrees F, the Max Temp mitt fits over stainless or cast-iron handles, indoors or at the barbecue, and comes in basic black to match any décor. --Ann Bieri
Customer Reviews
You can't go wrong
These are great quality and really protect you from heat. They slip on easily and make for a comfortable grip, too. What more is there to say? You can't go wrong.
Too small to use
Maybe I don't know how to use these mitts, but they are tiny--too small to put your hands inside and too small to wrap around the handle to use. I don't understand their use. I unwrapped them before really looking at them or I would have returned them.
Hot temp pot handle mitt
These are great for all pot handles, but especially for iron skillets. I bought six for both myself and as gifts. We all love them. I've seen these online for as much as $12.00 each . . . I only paid $6.00 each, so search carefully before you buy!
