This one doesn't have as many chicken coop plans as Michael Roberts book. However, it's design is for the whole farm (and all animals on it). This is a thorough book.

Buy new: $12.89 / Used from: $8.68 I'll be honest in that I find this book incredibly boring to read. However, it is probably the most thorough book on basic chicken care as well. Gail has a nice section on chicken coop layouts (notice I didn't say plans) in here. Thinking about the internal design and function is just as important as the external carpentry.
