Wonderful addition for a desktop computer
I received these speakers through the Amazon Vine program. I own a lot of Logitech products from webcams to notebook risers so I knew I was receiving a quality item.

Setting up the system took about five minutes and that was opening the box and plugging in the wires. I decided to try them out on my desktop computer. I placed the satellite speakers on the each of the monitor on my desk and the sub-woofer on the floor but raised it a bit on a small stand. The system was `plug n' play' and no software was needed.

I tested these out with watching videos on a well known video site. I watched TV/movie clips which came in very clear. I played a few music videos but found myself adjusting the bass level, which is at the back of the sub-woofer to find a comfortable level for listening. Once I found what I considered to be the right setting for me I decided to play some of my Amazon Video on Demand TV shows. I was very impressed with the sound quality. It is very clear and no interference whatsoever from any of the other devices I have in my office. Having the satellite speakers on the side of my desk I had full benefits of the `360' sound. It was nice not to have the sound directional but to be able to walk around and still hear the sound from the side very well.

I have been using these speakers for two weeks now and did not know what I was missing until I plugged these in. The speakers are very attractive as well with a nice shiny look to them. At the time of writing this review I cannot thing of one negative thing about these speakers. I would recommend these to someone looking for a great set of speakers without wanting to break the bank. I would also say these are great speakers for apartments or dorms since you can adjust the bass level on the sub-woofer. Logitech has done it once again with another quality product.

Logitech do it Again!
I don't know about you but my HP Computer came with the speakers built into the LCD Monitor so whilst the sound is adequate you won't realize how bad it is until you get this Logitech Speaker System. Having said this I admit I was a bit of a skeptic when I first connected up this system, I have a quality main hi-fi system so how good could this be?

Surprisingly the system is excellent. The 2 main speakers are very powerful for small speakers and the sub woofer fills out everything nicely. The amplifier built into the sub woofer also gives you plenty of volume range. 30 watts (RMS) of power is plenty even if you use your computer for playing Halo etc... As far as 360-degree sound, I was very pleased with the overall depth of sound so yes it works.

The last thing to note is built quality; the main speakers are hardened plastic-cased so they are very durable. The sub-woofer/amplifier is made of wood so no problems there.

Final Conclusion - My opinion of Logitech is on the up and up. They make quality goods which are very useful and suitably priced. This system is no exception and it is great for your computer but also good for your iPod or other source.

Good sound but don't expect the subwoofer to do any damage to your windows!
I've always had nice things to say about Logitech, it's one of the few brands that has never let me down, they make durable, high quality products and their customer service is great.

I received the package and immediately after opening it, I plugged everything that needed to be plugged within the package and within two minutes I was already hooking it up to my ipod, I selected the song with the most bass that I could think of, I will say that the subwoofer does it's job, it will let you know that there are some "booms" in your songs, but it will not blow you away! It's just a good smooth bass that comes out of that tiny subwoofer.
Sound clarity is nice too, both speakers give you great voice sound and other instruments are easy to hear as well.

I hooked the Z323 to my desktop and I was pleased with the sound, I wouldn't watch any movies on my computer using this system, it's good enough to sample your music and watch youtube, I just like my movies with a little more kick on the subwoofer department, but that's just a personal choice, they're still loud enough to please most people that are looking for a budget friendly speaker system.

I think that this set is best used with an MP3 player, cell phone or netbook'notebook, I ended up setting them, one speaker on each side of the bed and the subwoofer on the right hand side (yeah, that's my side of the bed ha ha) I was able to plug in several devices that I use on a daily basis and have better sound than what comes out of the stock speakers, it does magic for my netbook, it feels good to have solid sound coming out of that mini laptop!

Just like any other Logitech product, I highly recommend it, just keep in mind that you will be getting $60 worth of sound coming out of that system, don't expect it to match that 7.0 sorround sound system that you have setup in your living room.
