great for a total beginner. simple and to the point, but i wouldn't recommend it for a confident chef.

if you aren't seriously going to use this bad boy, then don't bother shelling out the money because it is pricey. if you want to try raw breads and crackers though, you'll need a dehydrator at some point. this one really is the best.

i know you guys are probably masters of cutlery, but this is a good time saver for the non-professional chopper. and honestly, it's really fun to julienne the heck out of a pile of carrots no matter what kind of diet you follow.

a raw food lifestyle without wheatgrass? preposterous! they actually sell amazing grass in a larger canister, so i recommend that one. drink your wheatgrass kiddies, it will boost your health, your mood, and every other thing that needs a good boosting. some raw food clinics like to serve wheat grass three times a day, so give this stuff a shot.

i just threw this on the list because i keep thinking about reading it. yep. just thinking. sometimes i get tired of having to find out why a certain thing makes me feel better, so i put it off. if you read it tell me if it's any good.

ignore all the twerpy photos of the cute couple that came up with this cookbook, because i heard that they aren't together anymore anyhow. the recipes are pretty swell if you can get past all the pictures of the authors.

have i cooked anything out of here yet? nope. i'm still lusting over the complicated dishes and the lovely pictures. i always read cookbooks all the way through before i prepare any meals from them, and this one is so beautiful that i don't want it to end. just get a copy and dare to dream.

this isn't the knife set that i own. in fact, it isn't even the same brand. i just stuck these on here to illustrate the point that, by jove, if you are an adult and you cook ANYTHING you ought to have a nice set of knives. and they must be stored in a block to maintain a sharp edge.

this happens to be the blender that i own, and we've gotten along well so far. sometimes we may consider seeing other people, but in the end it's nice to stick to what you know. wanna go nuts and get fancy? buy a vita mix and make all your neighbor's blenders whirl with envy. no joke. that vita mix will blend your socks off. and anything else you drop in there.

i like food processors, and they are very handy when it comes to raw food preparation. for the ultimate beginners list, just by a processor, a decent blender, and raw food made easy.

i like making little curls out of the peel. go on ahead and laugh.

pilates and i get along swimmingly. get a little exercise and boost that raw food diet!
