From the Publisher
Inspired by three themes—Seaside, Modern Country, and Urban—Debbie Bliss has created stunning garments and home accessories to suit every mood and occasion. Evoking the pleasures of a sunny weekend by the sea, there are cable-stitch cushions for lazing on the sand, a moss-stitch rug for the beach house, and a handy duffel bag for collecting seaside treasures. Debbie's modern country designs conjure the delights of a snug farmhouse kitchen, with slippers, a tea cozy and kettle holder, plus a luxurious throw to warm up cold winter nights. For urban living, there's a funky-chic handbag, a brilliant plaited scarf, and a cool dotted cushion that will add style to any living room. All the patterns are easy to knit and have clear, step-by-step instructions. And with Pia Tryde's stunning photography, this is the ultimate book for Debbie Bliss fans everywhere. Debbie Bliss, former designer for Baby Gap, is the best-selling author of more than a dozen books, including Special Knits for Babies, Junior Knits, Baby Knits for Beginners, The Baby Knits Book, Debbie Bliss Knitting Workbook, How to Knit, and Classic Knits for Kids.

Beautiful Ideas
This book is so beautifully presented it should be marketed as a coffee table book. The patterns are really beautiful and very usable around the home. I really enjoyed making some of the items, and the patterns were easy to follow. The wool recommended was very expensive, but I managed to interchange with little problem. I would recommend this book.
I actually really liked this book :)
I checked this out from the library and now have put it in my wish list. I am surprised by the poor reviews, but I could see myself knitting up several of the projects in here. Not really complicated, and some quite easy. Modern projects, not outdated. Go figure........ I am glad I went and checked out the book.
Love Debbie Bliss
I love any book that Debbie Bliss comes out with. Thank you for having this book available.
