Barbara Annalee Davis was born in Concord, New Hampshire in 1915. Annalee passed away after a short illness in her home, on April 7, 2002. Annalee first made the dolls as a hobby while she was a teen. During the mid 1950's she and her husband Charles "Chip" Thorndike turned her hobby into a business. Annalee Mobilitee Dolls was incorporated in 1962.
