As an employee of Mountain Mist and as a quilt maker, it was a pleasure to work with Oxmoor House Publishing to create this book. With more than 150 quilts in our corporate collection, the question has been asked repeatedly when a color book would be available. Now it is! Mountain Mist is known for the beautiful applique floral designs. They devote half the book to applique and the other half are pieced quilt patterns. This book is a must for fans of 1930's (and later) American quilts. I hope the publisher is planning to put out a second volume!
