About the Author
Donna Dewberry is without doubt the most successful and well-known decorative painter ever. She has done nine books for North Light since 1998. She is contracted through 2007 with PBS stations nationwide for her program “One-Stroke Painting with Donna Dewberry” and is also a regular presenter on the Home Shopping Network. Her designs are licensed for home décor fabrics, wallpapers, borders, stick-ons, bedding, etc. Donna’s most recent North Light books are Donna Dewberry’s Designs for Entertaining (2006) and Painting Fabulous Flowers with Donna Dewberry (2006).

If you're a paper crafter who has always wanted to try your hand at the now very famous "One Stroke" painting process, then this is your chance. Donna Dewberry has deftly merged these two processes in a fabulous, easy-to follow guidebook. You'll learn all of her techniques, as they apply to painting on paper. Scrapbookers will rejoice in her familiar use of stamps, fibers and embossing techniques.

The projects themselves are nothing remarkable, aside from the application of the one stroke techniques, which make them very unique ( and truly lovely).

I would highly recommend this book as an addition to your papercrafting library, if not for the techniques alone. They can be used in any mixed media project, even collage.
