Customer Reviews
It's a must have.
This is a book I will keep referring back to, Dr. Loretta has shared such a great deal of valuable information in a quick read. I now understand that having radiant, glowing , healthy skin needn't be complicated, costly or overly time consuming. Take my word for it, this is a book we were all waiting for.
Fun and Easy Program that shows RESULTS!!!
I am now in week 5 of this very fun and easy camp. I've been trying it out with some friends at work and we are all seeing results. I think in the first week I saw major changes following Dr. Loretta's advice of changing my pillow case and my detergent. I have had way fewer blemishes and cut out some acne products that were actually doing more harm than good in the redness department. I am highly recommending this book to EVERYONE! It is truly fabulous and even the adorable cover makes me smile (people have asked me why I look so happy and bright the past few days!). Hats off to Dr. Loretta for writing such a helpful manual for navigating the cosmetics world!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
New and cheaper spin on skincare and looking your best :-)
This truly is a book for everyone. Like a reviewer says below, it is for guys too. When you think about it, skin is skin whether it's on a male or female and everyone needs to take care of it.
We all look for 'the fountain of youth' in bottles and jars or even plastic surgury, but Loretta Ciraldo is helping us think of a more simpler way and a cheaper way to make the most of what we have and to help keep it in the best condition we can. As someone who works partially in the beauty industry, this makes sense even to me. It isn't always necessary to spend heaps of money on skin care - you CAN do it the simple way.
Loretta Ciraldo is a professor of dermatology, so she knows her stuff. She says we can do little things like changing your pillowcase. Residue from products can be sitting in the material of the case and you press your face into it all night long. Makes sense. Also a higher thread count is softer on the skin. If we wash it about twice a week, it's better for us. Also, careful with the shampoos that might be great for our hair but not so good for our skin. The chemicals in those products can be irritating for skin.
These are just a few examples of the easy things we can do to help ourselves out. I'm on week 3 and I'm not sure if it's psycological or not, but I feel like it's looking a little better. I'm sure we can all give it a go since it won't cost a fortune and we certainly have nothing to lose. I think she has some great advice and so anyone with skin concerns or who wants to improve it's appearance, should really give this a go. I love it.
