Customer Reviews
the king comes home
ELVIS WAS IN HIS HOMETOWN OF MEMPHIS TO PLAY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME,AND PLAY HE DID!ELVIS PUT EVERYTHING HE HAD INTO THIS SHOW AND HIS VOICE WAS IN PEAK FORM ,HIS MOOD WAS EXCELLENT,AS WAS THE MOOD OF THE HOMETOWN CROWD.IT DEFINENTLY WAS A LOVE FEST FOR ELVIS AND THE CROWD.ALL THE SONGS WERE EXCELLENT AND PERFORMED WITH PERFECTION.ELVIS WAS,IS,AND ALWAYS BE THE KING.BUY THIS ONE WHILE IT IS STILL AVAILABLE.
Hail to the king
A superior album with all the old standbys as well as songs not performed by the king too often on stage or recorded (blueberry hill). I like this performance better then the aloha via satellite album as he seems more relaxed and in tune with the audience. This is the album RCA should have released originaly.
favorite tour album
i bought this album when it was released in every formatt
it came out in...including quadraphonic, which rca should have re mastered these tracks and released it as a full album.
great rock and roll and variety.
