Garnets are dark
These are nice earrings, but the garnet stones were a bit muddy and did not have any sparkle to them. The silver is beautiful though - shiny and rich looking.

Great for small children...
These are nice for a young child, perhaps, but they'll disappoint otherwise.

The stones are tiny. I wanted subtle, what I got was laughable - you'd be hard pressed to even notice there was a stone in there from a distance greater than a foot. Physical build quality is good, very sturdy posts, but they're disappointingly small in every respect and look almost like silver-dipped dimestore earrings. Not expecting crown jewels for $50, but I did expect something similar to what I saw on the site. And they are similar -- under a macro camera lens!

I've never returned something so fast in my life; I had the return label printed and attached not 10 minutes after opening the package. Very disappointing.
