Product Description

Whether you listen to a portable radio or a top-of-the-line stereo receiver, the quality of sound coming from an FM station is dependent upon the station's signal strength in your area. Adding an FM antenna can help greatly, so be sure to select the best FM antenna for your needs. The FM Reflect Antenna will work with any portable or stereo receiver. This antenna incorporates a new dipole design for maximum gain across the entire FM broadcast band. Up to 213 percent more powerful than a standard dipole antenna, it covers the entire FM band with an almost flat response, where standard dipoles start to fall off near the end of the band. Many FM stations now broadcast their signal with circular polarization. The FM Reflect Antenna is the only FM antenna that can be adjusted to take advantage of this. It is not affected as much by surrounding objects and people as other FM antennas are.

Customer Reviews

Antenna4
This antenna removed all the static and channel fade that was present with one of the flat antennas. Simply placing the antenna like a "T" was enough to greatly improve the reception. Connecting was simply a matter of screwing in into the receiver.

Very effective passive antenna5
I just bought my second FM Reflex antenna and am very satisfied with its performance. It is easily the best passive (i.e., not electronically amplified) indoor radio antenna I have ever used and even outperforms most amplified antennas I have tried. Note, however, that your results will vary depending on a number of variables such as the sensitivity of your AM/FM receiver, distance and power of the transmitting station, location of your set-up, and interference from other electronic equipment. For instance, I have one favorite FM station which I can pull in clearly on the system in my living room but which comes in staticky on my bedroom system (different systems, different location but using the same antenna). Also bear in mind that, as with any T-type antenna, you may have to experiment with various configurations until you find the optimal layout of the antenna.

Needed addition5
This antenna is exactly what was needed to catch the signal for our new Sony HD tuner.
