Album Description
In the sixteenth year of their career, Kreator continue to assert their long-standing position as spearheads of the German thrash metal scene. Kreator aren’t what you’d call a purely German phenomenon, they are a prime Teutonic export article with an impressive track record of over one million albums sold worldwide, their touring history includes seven tours in the US ! After a temporary foray into more melodic fields, band mastermind Mille Petroz and his recently restructured group present an up-dated version of their metallic origins on their new album Violent Revolution: thrash metal, forged with as much precision as you can get in 2001. The tracks on Violent Revolution sound like the album title: unyielding, rigorous, and powerful.

Unrestrained! Magazine Issue #17 Sept 2001 A. Ristia -9.5 out of 10-
It is now time for Kreator to recapture their throne, and a violent revolution is all that's needed.

World Class Thrash Absolutely Incredible5
After how long they have been around how can they possibly find it within themselves to put out something this good? If you are a thrash metal fan BUY THIS. Topical, angry (surprise), pointed lyrics along with engaging (not worn out) jackhammer riffs. Just when I think metal is out of new riffs this comes along. The guitar leads are crisp, melodic. I'm not a fan of melodic metal but the leads are an interesting change on the powerful rhythms. And it is just one pounding song after another - and without sounding alike. The songs are not boring (like, oh, I've heard this a thousand times); quite the opposite. Each one grabs your attention. An outstanding thrash metal cd. I am SO glad I trusted the other reviewers and bought this one. CHEERS!

The real deal!5
This is an absolute must for any Kreator fan. It's just like the good old days. True thrash like some of their older albums. Everything I've heard by Kreator I like some more than others, this up there with my favorites Terrible Certainty, Extreme Aggression. Check out their new one too(Enemy of God) its just as good as Violent Revolution. Mille is still pissed off at the world and still very aggressive. If you are a true thrash fan you will not be dissapointed in this album, especially if you are a Kreator fan.

Pure Talent !!!!!5
I've been a huge Kreator fan for a long time. Since "Pleasure to Kill" was their newest album. And I love most of their albuns with the exeption of "Renewall" which is good but not great. I am one of the few Kreator fans to have really enjoyed "Endorama". However I could not help feeling really thrilled when I put this album in my CD player. KREATOR IS BACK WITH A VENGENCE !!!!!! It's Kreator doing what they always did best, being agressive. Mille's vocals still sound just like what they did in Extreme Agression or Comma of Souls, Ventor shows why he should never have left in the first place and he pounds his drums with amazing speed and skill. The guitar work is impecable and Kreator's trade mark catchie riffs are everywhere.
An instant classic, and a must have for any one who is a Thrash fan. You will not be able to keep your head still.
