Editorial Reviews

Album Description
At the end of 2005 Steel Attack parted with Arise Metal to find a better deal elsewhere. The offers where many due to the load of great reviews of Enslaved, but the best deal offered came from German MASSACRE RECORDS, which also was the label the band had their hopes on during the search. A contract was written between Steel Attack and Massacre Records and the recordings of the 5th album Diabolic Symphony begun. Also this time Steel Attack chose to record at Black Lounge studios. Massacre Records. 2006.

About the Artist
The band was formed in the beginning of 1995. In 1998 Steel Attack recorded their first demo-tape and sent it to different labels in Europe. Steel Attack signed a record deal with AFM Records in June 1998 and the debut album "Where Mankind Fails" was recorded in Studio Underground, co-produced by Pelle Saether and released in 1999. The press agreed the album was maybe not a masterpiece, but a warning for what to come. The year of 2000 followed with live-promotion tours, supporting Edguy and playing for metal heads at Festivals as Sweden Rock in Sweden and Wacken Open Air in Germany, a lot of Gigs followed.

Diabolic Symphony" is the 5th album of the Band and is proved to be the heaviest album ever released by the Swedes of STEEL ATTACK!!!

Customer Reviews

Diabolic Symphony5
Well if you like Enslaved then you'll like Diabolic Symphony, same sound as Enslaved.
Steel Attack has changed their sound a couple of years ago when they released Enslaved, and they carried that sound on to Diabolic Symphony.
They are more dark sounding, the lyrics are not cheesy. Ronny Hemlin does an excellent job,his vocals soar on this album just like on Enslaved.

They have a new drummer...Tony Elfving.
Diabloic Symphony is a great song to start the album off,the song changes a bit as the song goes on,awesome. The song Dreaming is one of the faster song's on the album,at the end of the song they put some thrash in it which is awesome.
Embraced By Fear rules.
Haunting is an interesting ballad, but you can decide for yourself.
Sanctimonious is an awesome song,it has the best chorus on that song. If you like Enslaved then get this or if you are a Steel Attack fan.
I really don't consider them power metal anymore....I consider them progressive metal!!

Better Than Enslaved!5
this album impressed me it definetely killed enslaved... but it doesnt nearly touch Fall Into Madness or Where mankind Fails. but those days of steel attack's carrer are over and gone i should appreciate the new "mature" sounding steel attack

dookie...
