AMazing Album!5
This Too Will Pass is a brilliant album by The One AM Radio. Hrishikesh Hirway provides delicate vocals over smooth yet intricate beats. I had to listen to the album a few times before I realized its magnificence. This album works on two levels. It can be played as background music where each song stealthily transitions from one to another, perfect for studying or hanging out at a coffee house or it can be dissected one song at a time, where each song provides its own nuances. "In the Time We've Got" is the most upbeat sounding song, and was the first song that I though deserved a second listen. The lyrics reveal the tale of a failed relationship filled with regret. None of the songs are truly joyous, and instead seem to be brushed with a coat of melancholy. "Cast Away" is another ominously beautiful song. Hirway's restrained vocals are guided by transitioning instrumentals which seem to act as a leaky faucet, allowing moments of free flowing layers of violins, drums, and bass, and then cutting them off to reveal sparse moments of single instrumentation. "A Brittle Filament" is a song which lacks vocals, but compensates by creating a rich tapestry of electronic beats that allow the listener to escape into a tranquil world. Each song on This Too Will Pass is special. This is by far the best new album of 2007.

Great album5
When I first bought this album I didn't listen to it much, I had great music from the shins to distract me. But since I placed it in my player, I constantly listen to this awesome album, from these guys

Sad but sweet.4
I don't know anything about this band, but this album is enjoyable. The majority of the lyrics are about a broken relationship, so if you're looking for songs to lift your spirits this is not the album for you. Most of the music has a slow pace and there are a couple of tracks consisting of music without lyrics.
