This threat is f*****g real indeed!5
Fear Factory fans rejoice, Dino Cazares is back with a vengence. "Bleed the Fifth" sounds like the follow-up to "Digimortal" but with less synths & 100x more aggressive. No need for imitation this is the real deal. Fast, brutal, melodic, stunning. Dino has put together a killer group:Tim Yeungs drumming is simply insane & Tommy Vext voice is in fantastic form. Dino even throws in a little guitar solo. Heres one of the best metal albums of 2007. My only complaint is that I wish it was about a song or two longer but there is a bonus song "Purity Defiled" on the Japanese import which im going to hunt down. Overall: The best album Fear Factory never made. Superb!

Absolutely One Of The Year's Best Metal Releases.....4
I picked up Divine Heresy's debut release after reading some good reviews, and I am certainly not disappointed. I had heard of the guitar player, formerly of the band Fear Factory, which oddly enough I had never heard, though I have been a huge metal fan for many years... after hearing this very solid release, I am a believer.

One of the more addictive and solid metal releases this year, Divine excel at playing very intense, brutal metal featuring machine-like rhythmic intensity and some ungodly talented, super-tight rhythmic interplay between the drummer and guitarist Dino Cazares. The way these two play off each other has to be heard to be believed....very heavy jackhammer-style riffing from hell with some very cool time signature "tricks" on occasion. The vocals are varied, (death-style, melodic, and harsh Hetfield-style), but always very good. This is what it would sound like if you combined Pantera, Killswitch Engage and Meshuggah. Only a way to describe it, though, as Divine Heresy do have a unique and very heavy sound. Heres to the next album, dudes!

Dino's best work yet....and the drumming is unreal4
I'll keep this short: Buy this CD. The drumming and riffing are incredible, Dino's and Tim's finest hour. THis is going to be a great month with the new Skinlab live CD coming out on 4/29 and this release. I just hope my speakers can keep up.
