Sincere Music5
Primordial are a band that, in my humble opinion create music that is compelling and thought-provoking. This band will cut no corners in any way. It must have been a painstaking process to compose brilliant music, lyrics and artwork. But, Primordial could not do it in any other way.Period. Nemthanga sings with sadness, and quite frankly, a fiercesome sense of pride. This cat might be the best "frontman" in Metal. The drumming is superb. And the guitars are coming at you in beautiful fluid crushing waves, which contain a completely melodious strain. Sinply put, this band is sincere in their art. This is possibly the absolute best Metal album of 2007. If and when people listen to this, and God I hope they do, if they aren't moved by this, I truly feel bad for you. Get this yesterday.

but as per usual, we get SCREWED over in the U.S.! no 2nd CD :-(5
this is a great release! Primordial really raised the bar for themselves on this one. if there is one criticism, it would be the new vocal stylings are too similar from song to song, but if you like it as much as i do, you'll be able to get into it with no problems.
what i am annoyed with is how the U.S. labels ALWAYS screw us fans over by not including the "bonus" materials that are available in/on the European version(s). this release should have included a 2nd "Live" CD... but METAL BLADE U.S. is too busy pushing talentless mall-core/un-metal junk instead of delivering the goods with the better bands they license over to the U.S. market from Metal Blade DE.
a BIG ZERO STARS for Metal Blade US! a label who could have fueled the scene instead of snuffing it.
(MB U.S. has also stopped promoting their European licenses to internet radio stations... in favor of talentless U.S. mall-core/un-metal)

To The Nameless Dead5
Primordial has quickly become one of my favorite bands to listen to. To The Nameless Dead is an incredible step in both dark & heavy Metal and the tragic saga of being Irish.
