Customer Reviews

Damn good.5
In 2005 I bought their "The Gathering Wilderness" CD and I had a difficult time getting into it. I loved the themes, but the music on that album didn't grip me. Needless to say I was skeptical when I read about this new album in Terrorizer. After reading the article and the review on this album, I decided to give Primordial another try and I'm glad I did. "To the Nameless Dead" is a complex, dark, hard, and finely crafted work. I absolutely love the themes, which center on war dead and pagan references. Definitely worth checking out if that is your thing.

To The Nameless Dead5
Primordial has quickly become one of my favorite bands to listen to. To The Nameless Dead is an incredible step in both dark & heavy Metal and the tragic saga of being Irish.

Sincere Music5
Primordial are a band that, in my humble opinion create music that is compelling and thought-provoking. This band will cut no corners in any way. It must have been a painstaking process to compose brilliant music, lyrics and artwork. But, Primordial could not do it in any other way.Period. Nemthanga sings with sadness, and quite frankly, a fiercesome sense of pride. This cat might be the best "frontman" in Metal. The drumming is superb. And the guitars are coming at you in beautiful fluid crushing waves, which contain a completely melodious strain. Sinply put, this band is sincere in their art. This is possibly the absolute best Metal album of 2007. If and when people listen to this, and God I hope they do, if they aren't moved by this, I truly feel bad for you. Get this yesterday.
