Formed by former Helloween guitarist Kai Hansen in 1990, Gamma Ray has become world renown for delivering high-powered, energetic heavy metal. For the past two decades, they have earned a rabid European following and a healthy fanbase across North America, even in metal's lean years in the 90s. Already a known and respected name in the core community, Gamma Ray is poised to make further inroads in America in 2008, when they'll embark on a full-scale US tour with Hansen's ex-mates Helloween. Their time is now!

Customer Reviews
Good album but not the best.
I was really excited about this album and even though non of the songs were bad at all, none of them stuck out as "WOW!!!" My favorite still is Somewhere Out In Space. Note: the original photo of the album cover didn't have the parental advisory logo or that huge circle. I complained and filled out an RMA and then they put it up there. That, to me, is the biggest dissappointment. I buy the actual cd, and don't download it, because of the artwork/booklet (and not printed by a color lazerjet.) Even before I listened to it, I contacted amazon to replace it. All the stores that carry it have those logos on it so I never did actualy ship the cd out and I contacted Gammaray's official site and they said they have it without those annoying labels.
Long live power metal
Kay Hansen and co. are back to bring a very fine album a nice work of guitar all along the album. A nice piece of power metal.
Great album
Anyone looking to expand there music collection needs to buy this album. If you like Helloween and bands like Hammerfall get this album. This is the first of Gamma Ray's that I have purchased and I'm definitely getting more. Killer guitar work and screaming vocals for the metal heads out there.
