Excellent Thrash Metal for New and Old Fans
This is a compilation disc put together by Earache records of some of their premier Thrash Metal bands today. This is definately a tip of the hat to the old school ANTHRAX, METALLICA, EXODOUS, MEGADETH, TESTAMENT, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, SLAYER thrash sound of the early and mid 80's. Fast, loud and agressive with a lot of charisma and energy that metal has not had since the heyday of thrash. These bands are a new wave of thrash, as advertised. With witty names such as SEND MORE PARAMEDICS, and MUNICIPAL WASTE, these bands play with the energy that has been unrivaled in years. Favorite Tracks: Warbringer-Total War, Municipal Waste-The Art Of Partying, and Send More Paramedics-Twilight of the Flies. This album is a nice low cost way to pick up tracks from these bands and have them in one handy spot. A disc to listen through all the way from beginning to end, no slowing down.

Thrashing like a Maniac
Well the title said it all. If you like 80's thrash this is a must...nothing special musically or lyrically as compared to today standards but a very good solid Various Artists comp. disc. This disc will have you thrashing from beginning till the end. Yep, no posers or Nu Metal here thank goodness!!!

Pure and solid THRASH METAL all the wayyy!! its really damn good to see thrash coming back and rising to sabotage and give you the punch to your all sleeping rage! aha! whatever i do, i just can't seem to take that thrashing blood out of my veins. to tell you the truth, i listen to a lot of genres and sub-genres. but this cd just gave me the answer i lost a really long time ago. and you think its long gone? listen, feel. its just around there somwhere. anyways. out there. i say its a must have. its a must. you think your metal? its a must. you don't know metal?, its a must. you like drinking beer?, its a must. you hate everything?, its a must. you like banging your head? its a freaking must!!! i give it the best rating. THRASH ON!!
