more of the same, but in a different way4
This CD is as the other two reviews say, but in a way, totally different. Yes it sounds alot like other metal bands, but its milotic style, and its intricate timeing in tempo, and synthesizer bring delightfull surprises to those who are tired of hearding all the same type of song construction. Without the synth, this CD would be nothing special. Its "hardcore tough-guy" break out break downs are also a surprise, seeing how hardcore punk has little relation to heavy death metal growls. I give them points for combining to different typs of music into one successfully! Its blast beats are more than normal, but its slow consistand double bass does not always cordinate with the blast beats, which is more than strange. It has a good strong epic feel aswell!

This album has one of the best solos in history!4
I'm not a huge Death Metal guy, but I have started taking an interest in some of the Deathcore bands coming out in the last year or two. This band is definitely one of the best to date. This album brings an awesome blend of heavy guitar riffing with melodic keys. This also has a lot more chugga, chugga and less eeh, eeh.

About a minute into the song Anthems of Apocalypse, there is one of the most awesome solos in history. It's very rare for a song to completely grab you and make you feel what they were feeling when they wrote it. This solo does it.

Although the vocalist's lyrics may not be the best, his presentation definitely makes you feel like you can crush everyone in your wake and not think twice about it as they inconvenienced you. Definitely worth the price.

Sweet Listen4
Wow these guys are something else. They blend beautiful choirs and strings with heavy deathmetal. Johnny has a unique scream aswell. First I will list the pros and then the cons.

Pros
The mixture of the guitars and keys go together beautifuly and just make a unique sound. The screams add the icing. The drums are what stand out the most to me. The double bass hits you hard and makes you want to punch something.

Cons
The lyrics you can tell were written in about a day and pretty much say the same thing in every song. With such a sweet band one would think that the lyrics would follow, but alas no. Some of the fills just get boring and leave you wanting them to be over and have them pick up the pace. This is all I really thought lacked.
