Former members of Icepick Revival (At A Loss Records) and Collapsar (Escape Artist Records) unite and switch to low gear in a quest to render auditory faculties a liquefied mess via their burly, rock-tinged doom. Swaying back and forth through bruising minimalism and drunken gorilla swagger, this trio adds well-crafted song structure, and carefully plotted payoff points to what is already a seemingly endless arsenal of quality neck-wrecking equipment. In less than a year these Herculean amp-roasters have unleashed a self-financed 4-song demo, done a few small tours, and have replaced a few thousand dollars worth of equipment that just can t hold up to their main influence: VOLUME.
