Customer Reviews

MUCH TOO LOUD!3
I think the problem the earlier reviewer was mentioning wasn't that the vocals were too soft, but that the mastering was way WAY too loud. This is a really crappy recording that shouldn't have been mastered this hot. The sound crackles because everything is being overdriven. This is a great album, and excellent work, but I agree it needs to be remastered. Really disappointed with the production on this album.

Production of Vocals Are Off2
These guys are awesome on every level and the album is great. So why did I give it two stars. When I put this in my car I could barely hear the vocals. So I thought it was my car. I put in my computer with a good speaker system and I could barely hear the vocals. THE VOCALS ARE TOO LOW. Such a shame. If you pay attention though, you can tell that this album is awesome but since I can barely hear the vocals I get frustrated and don't care to listen to the album. I hope they fix this and re-issue the album

Interesting ideas, but wow what a big mess.2
First off i know about polyrythms and ideas of being techinical etc. I'm the x Byzantine drummer and thats what we prided ourselves after was making some ultra technical, but listenable music. Biomechanicals first album was very good, produced well, good vocals and sounded more focused. Yes i do agree also that the music is way to loud and the vocals are pushed back in the mix, but that may not be so bad considering they go no where. Basically it sounds like a guy blowing his load or being so jacked up on coke that he's ready to just explode and scream babbling nonsense from feeling good. Make a long story short..its not tight, focused, or even well written music, as i said it sounds like a bunch of thrown together ultrasonic noise to me. Thanks.
