So Br00tal
If the definition of "br00tal" means "awful", then this certainly applies to this album. Waking the Cadaver's debut just has to be a terrible joke, even when it comes to deathcore and slam death.
The guitar work is nothing special, especially since it's composed of annoying breakdowns and typical 3rd rate death metal riffs. The drumming is terrible, since the drummer can't even keep the beat and just drums fast to show off how much of a joke he is. Then we have the part of the band which everybody makes fun of, which are the vocals. It's a bunch of indecipherable gutturals mixed very low. Speaking of which, the production is horrible. This sounds like something that could have been recorded in one of the band members' basement. It's so awful that it makes the production on Breeding the Spawn look like genius A+ work.
My advice is to not even bother with this monstrosity. I could name drop a couple of suggestions that I'd definitely recommend over this manure pile, but that list would probably be longer than this review. Let's just say that I now feel like washing out my ears with some Nickelback.
