a rock-out and a half!
great mix of tracks on this album! a little bit of something for everyone. i'm loving razoreyes when i'm feeling pumped up and enjoying can't shake it off when i'm feeling chill. this album is a great listen of music fans who enjoy variety.
Very catchy
The album starts softly, not giving an indication of what direction it might take. Next thing you know, drums and guitars kick in and you're treated to an assortment of fun, catchy pop-rock. I often find "Razoreyes" stuck in my head.
If you're a fan of good songwriting...
I am so excited that this album finally came out, I've been waiting all summer for it!! I had a chance to see Elevation perform live at SXSW this last March and was completely blown away by the talent that this group has. Not only do they look like total rock stars, they can play like rock stars! Probably the most energetic and eye-catching band that I saw play at SXSW! The lead guitarist was jumping from the stage to on top of the speakers, while the drummer was in the back making it look like he was born playing. And unlike some other bands, the singer can actually sing!! I would love to see them again, even if I have to go to Atlanta to see them!
