Album Description
2009 collection. Michael Jackson: Remix Suites is a collaborative celebration of the music industry's top producers remixing the best of Michael Jackson and Jackson 5 classics! Includes Jackson's Motown catalog remixed by Stargate, The Neptunes, Polow, Akon, Dallas Austin, Sturken & Rogers, Benny Blanco, Paul Oakenfold, Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Mark Hoppus (of Blink 182) and others.

About the Artist
MICHAEL JACKSON: THE REMIX SUITE is as diverse in sound as its dazzling array of notable producers, which includes Tricky Stewart, DJ Cassidy, Steve Aoki, Frankie Knuckles, and Benny Blanco, among many others. "We jumped at the opportunity to be involved with this project because Michael is a legend who influenced our entire career and redefined the world of music," says Pharrell Williams from The Neptunes, whose seductive and synthy reworking of "Never Can Say Goodbye" is anchored by an irresistibly heavy bass line. For Salaam Remi's reggae remix of "ABC," he "imagined the Jackson's taking a trip to Jamaica in the early '70s with a Jamaican band playing behind them." And for DJ Cassidy's cheerful rendition of "The Love You Save," he says his goal was to "unite the sounds of Michael's work with both The Corporation and Quincy Jones to create something fresh but equally timeless, classic, and inspiring as the original."

Universal Motown Records has enlisted the hottest producers in the game to pay homage to Michael Jackson by remixing their favorite tracks from The Jackson 5's timeless catalog of gems and jams. Akon, Swizz Beatz, Q-Tip, Ryan Leslie, and Rodney Jerkins are just a few of the superstar producers who are featured on MICHAEL JACKSON: THE REMIX SUITE

Young King in remixes4
Since Michael Jackson's gone, we've got many albums connect with his works. "The Remix Suite" is one of the most interesting proposition.

Unfortunatelly many remixes are tiring and boring for our ears. It's hard to say that "Dancing Machine" (Steve Aoki), "Never Can Say Goodbye" (The Neptunes) or "Hum Along And Dance" (Morales Giamsta) are "fresh" or original. But besides infantile and boring remixes there are some really great stuffs. Absolutely the best track for dance is "Dancing Machine" by great Pollow Da Don. He used brother's choirs in very original way and on the hard beat background, Michael's voice sounds incredible sexy and attractive. Really nice is also "Maria (You Were The Only One)" but the real soul of this cd are two songs - "Ben" and "Maybe Tomorrow".

These two ballads for the end of album are wonderful! I was really afraid of Akon's work cause how he could destroy Michael's song, he showed it in the remix of "Wanna Be Startin' Something". But here... Wow, legendary "Ben" doesn't sound like after Akon's work. He increased and thickened the instrumentation, so good job! But the most incredible remix is for sure "Maybe Tomorrow". Damn, this is better than the original record and I swear, shivers will go up and down your body! Amazing orchestral beginning with an intense harmony opens the way for heavenly Michael's voice. Voice which kills by his simplicity. Just shocking.

This album proves again that Michael Jackson was a genius, no matter how old he was. It shows not only his big voice but also his huge sensitivity and heart for the music. It makes me happy that someone wants propagate earlier Michael's works. It's a pity not all remixes are good but if you think over - buy "The Remix Suite" or "This Is It", I swear - choice is banal!

Michael Is Ageless & Timeless5
I am so impressed by these remixes of some of the best Jackson music.
When I first heard snippets I was hooked.
Now that I own it I play it everywhere.
In my house, in my car, on my IPod walking wherever & whenever.

I'm very surprised that I'm the first to give it 5 stars.
I can understand people are upset about it being a money-making device
But I truly believe that the people involved put Michael first.
You can't work with any music of Michael's without some love for his voice.
Unless your a cold stone dead horse
Which I know people out there can be
But not on this CD.
I think it was first put together for Michael's fans
Then the money came second.

Forever Came Today is so upbeat and full.
Maria is gorgeous.
Ben is heartbreakingly comforting.
Each track gives us a talented Michael.
Singing with his brothers is marvelous.

I felt Michael's life and career flash before me
When I first popped this CD into my car stereo.
It was pumping and I was pumped.
People looked as they do with music playing loud
Yet they looked happy as I smiled with delight to the sound.

Don't be misled.
Don't disregard this CD.
Don't miss a chance to be moved.
Buy the CD or Download it.
You will be moved!

Forever Michael5
I completely enjoyed all the songs on this CD. It was a pleasure to hear them in a different format and even more enjoyable to hear them modernized to todays standards. I am thrilled that Michael and his music will live on in a varied foray for different generations to love. He is and will be The King Of Pop. Thanks goes out to those who tirelessly worked on this labor of love. It shows.
