Buy used from: $4.09 Yet another gem by Penumbra. I can't recommend getting these two albums enough. They will blow you away. Literally.

 | A New Dimension of Might by Trail of Tears
Buy new: $9.98 / Used from: $5.54 Definitely the darker side of Gothic Metal that begins to borderline on symphonic black metal. This album is extremely aggressive for the genre, but still contains a sort of dark beauty you'd come to expect from the genre.

Buy new: $16.98 / Used from: $5.99 A pretty good return to form after their almost excessively hardcore influenced "Free Fall Into Fear" album. They brought female vocals back too.

Buy new: $30.98 / Used from: $20.50 This album is quite haunting, and is probably the closest to capturing the bleak gothic atmospheres seen by early Tristania.

This is a great album too, but they almost delved a little too far into pure "femme metal" on this. At times it sounds like a more aggressive Within Temptation, but as usual, its a million times better.

Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $12.21 This is Epica's newest, and surprisingly, their best. They definitely created one of the most majestic albums I've heard with this one. Not to mention, Simone is gorgeous as always :).

 | At Sixes and Sevens by Sirenia
Buy new: $16.98 / Used from: $11.50 Morten Veland's band after Tristania. He basically takes the sound from around the time of "Beyond the Veil" and adds an interesting mix of electronica and 80s goth. The result is quite amazing.

Buy new: $16.98 / Used from: $8.49 If "Voices Within" is not an awe inspiring song to you, you have no soul. You should listen to Korn and Limp Bizkit instead.

 | Nine Destinies and a Downfall by Sirenia
Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $7.63 Is Morten going to be able to keep a female singer for more than one album? God only knows... anyways, this album has almost no death growls, but that doesn't keep it from being good. In fact, its quite enjoyable.
