Not the same band as Lindley's. This is the English band with the same name and a completely different sound. Well worth the chance purchase.

If I were to pick one album that was equal to Sgt. Pepper's that people generally don't know about, this is it. Incredible baroque Psychedelia.

In early '67 they released "More of the Monkees". Psychedelic!?? Well, maybe not. "Headquarters" was released mid year and the image of a bubblegum act turned into a real band. Then "Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones" was released late this year and showed that these guys were artists with the best of them.

This set the standard for Psychedelic music's future. This issue has the mono and stereo mixes and a Cd of non album material from 1967.

Fifty people drop acid, go into the studio, and record this. Lots of noise and a song called "War Sucks". Just what you might suspect. This one will clear a room or make friends that won't go away. A classic to be experienced!

More than their one hit "Incense and Peppermints". The guitarist, Ed King, later joined Lynyrd Skynyrd.

This one showed a generation you didn't need to be the consummate musician to make a social statement, prompting even more to dream of becoming rock stars.

In England this came out as Roger the Engineer, late 1966. Not a well received album, but I include it anyway because it's so good! Mostly Jeff Beck but Jimmy Page joins in the sessions.

The best of garage bands from all over America. Some hits and "bubbling under" recordings. Well worth it.
