Customer Reviews
Nice book, edit the Evolution part for you children though!
This book (1 of 7) is a good way to introduce that there are continents. It goes through the weather, type of landscape, people, etc. It is a nice book to have on hand for kids to flip through. You can read it to your 4+ year old or they can read it themselves in 2nd+ gread. Nice photos. If you want them to visualize there are 7 continents get these nice books. If you would rather just get them all in one get the National Geographic Beginners World Atlas! It has superb illustrations, great text, and makes a great book to leave out on your coffee table for easy flip-through! I woudl probaby just get the Atlas if I were doing it again, but these are nice books.
if you believe in evolution...
nice pictures but...(from the book) "...millions of years ago, our earliest ancestors learned to walk upright...". you decide.
Wonderful Book!
This is a great book about a continent. Most of the time, these books are just boring, but this book makes Africa seem exciting! A very nice job and it will my students from Africa feel proud to be from there.
