It sticks TOO well
I have gone through 2 of these for my Nuvi 660 now. Both have stuck extremely well to the windshield. The problem is, if it is left on for any extended period of time, trying to get it OFF is the problem. In both cases, the suction cup literally peeled a layer of rubber material off leaving it attached to the windshield. The rubber had to be scraped off with a razor blade and the suction cup became useless because the surface was damaged and irregular due to half of it peeling off. My brother also had the same thing happen with his Nuvi. Garmin is aware of the issue, in both cases they promptly replaced the unit without question. Good customer service! My advice, don't leave it on too long, or if you do, don't try and take it off.

Love this mount!
This is the 2nd mount I have used for a Garmin GPS. The only warning I can give is to not forget if you put it on a side window that if you roll the window down it will fall. I take mine down every day because of theft. This new design is easy to use. You simply put the suction cup against the windshield and then press the lever down and it sticks very well. Although it sticks better if you run the air a minute to cool the windshield down when it's really hot outside. The ball swivel joint works very well. It comes apart and goes back together very easily. This makes it easy for one to turn the Nuvi for better viewing. You connect the charger to the back of the mount for the GPS. There is a button you press on the bottom of the mount to release the Nuvi from the mount. This is an excellent design and I'm more than pleased with this mount and using the Nuvi.

Nuvi 660 suction cup mount
This is an exact replacement of original. I do not recommend taking on and off the part that fit into the ball of the suction cup. It will break and you will have to get one of these. Just remove the Nuvi and then remove the whole suction cup mount combination.
