Necessary item if you want to record line-in
It worked great, just as specified. It's about 6" long and converts the regular pin type connection to the very small connector that plugs into the Cowon D2 mp3 player. This connection is even smaller than a mini USB, so this little cable is a must if you want to record line-in to the player. The AC adapter for the Cowon D2 and the line-in use the same slot.

Don't bother
Virtually no microphones work with this, you need a powered microphone, those are rare and expensive for what they are. Also, line in implies you need something else with a line out to make it work. If the D2 is anything special as a recorder, I don't know about it. Record on something else.

Should be included with the player
This should be included with player, but I need it.
Comes in white color, I prefer in black.
