Customer Reviews

It is easy to remove the case when you know how... I LOVE this case!5
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R4V1ECTMIAIK2 How To Remove the Transparent Clear Crystal Snap On Hard Case for SanDisk Sansa Fuze. Sorry the angle of the video... I had to work with my "Still" camera's tack-on video feature. LOL

To remove the case, you need a thin bladed knife or thin piece of plastic. I used my Swiss Army Knife.

DO NOT TRY TO PRY THE CASE OFF! If you try to pry, you will break the case. It is strong, but even a strong case will crack towards the base if you pry. Be gentle... Very very gentle. It is easy to get off once you see it done once.

Works great and fits speaker dock!4

This is a GREAT case for the Sansa Fuze - what you can't tell from the photo is that it DOES cover the screen.

Pros: Seems very durable, covers the whole player neatly while leaving open slots for the data ports and buttons. ALSO - the player can fit into the docking station of the Altec Lansing inMotion iM413 Portable Audio System for Sansa while this case is on it!!! These are GREAT sounding speakers, and then you have no need to try to pry this case off.

Cons: Yes, the case is EXTREMELY hard if nt impossible to pry off once it's on. I'd probably have to break my case to get it off. However, I don't see why I'd need to do that since I have the speakers I mentioned above. Also, it has a small hole in the back for possibly a belt loop attachment (?) but no other way to attach a wrist strap or anything. So you will need some kind of pouch or pocket to keep it in. (The actual player doesn't have a wrist strap or belt clip either, so the case doesn't make much of a difference anyway.)

Great case5
I had purchased a case for my husband's Fuze several months ago and bought the 3 in 1 travel case set. I definitely didn't like it's ill fitting design and so when I purchased a Fuze for myself decided to try out this snap on case. His leather case is not only ill fitting and doesn't protect the screen very well but it completely hides the Fuze's good looks. I enjoy the fact that this case doesn't seem easily scratched and shows off the Fuze while protecting it at the same time. It fits perfectly. All of the ports are easily accessible. I had no trouble turning it on and off. I was able to remove the case twice within 10 minutes although it was not easy and took some care which honestly, is what you would expect in a good quality case. My niece has an I-pod and I watched her step-father struggle with removing the snap on case. It took him much longer just to get that thing apart than what it took me to get this one apart, back together, and then apart again. I used an old fashioned staple remover (the one with the bent top not the kind with the "teeth" so to speak) to act as a lever and pry it apart from the bottom where the opening for the port is. Also, I noticed my niece's case didn't have an opening at all to charge her Ipod. This case has ALL of the openings in exactly the correct places so you shouldn't have to take it on and off a lot. The clip wasn't as bad as what some of the reviews lead me to believe it would have been. However the clip is definitely cheap looking and seems as if it could be easily broken. I do like the fact that you can leave the back part of the clip inside the case with the Fuze in it and then unscrew the actual clip on part from the outside of the case and detach it completely if you don't want to use it. This is a nice feature since I'll probably only use the clip when I'm jogging. Overall, a very well designed case. Again, I had no problem taking mine off contrary to the one review where the person said it could not be removed at all. I would be interested in reading some reviews from others who have maybe had their cases a while as I hope that the case wouldn't over time maybe become impossible to remove? I hope not anyway.
