Good price, but not so great for serious learning4
These are fun! Cute cartoons, and interesting words for the age group of 5 to maybe 11 or 12. I wish the article was with each word (el conejo, la flor) and I think it's a little weird to have the English and Spanish on the same side as the picture, but for introduction, it's okay.

The biggest con that I took a star off for was that there's no phonetic spelling, so beginning Spanish students will not know if they are pronouncing the words correctly.

In class, we like these, and the kids are definitely drawn to them, and they have been holding up well in class (except for the box! Ha!) I'm just concerned for those learning without a Spanish speaker handy.

Party Favor5
I bought these cards as party favors for my daughter's Fiesta Birthday Party. She was 6, so learning different languages is a big interest right now. These cards are great--collection of words and pictures keep their attention and teach new skills!

What kind of idiot translated these?1
The card with the sock gives the Spanish as "calcetíne" which is WRONG. It's two "calcetines" but one "calcetín" -- and any 1st year Spanish student would know that.

Otherwise... The graphics are cute. The cards are a nice size for adult hands.

I bought a set of these of these as a gift and another set to use in bilingual craft projects. I will probably just throw away the "sock" card, but one could certainly try to cover the "e" with correction fluid.
