Pretty, but made for skinny calves only.
I'm a size 8 shoe and my calf measures 15 inches at the fullest. I ordered a 9 because I heard these run small. The shoe fit great but the calf was WAY too small. The absolute MAX that the shaft might fit is 13.5-14 inches. If these measurements meet your needs then buy these like NOW! they are GORGEOUS! Even the liner material is beautiful.
BUT! If you have a fuller/athletic calf like me, DO NOT buy b/c you will only be disappointed. The material has no give, they do NOT budge at all! I had to send them back. I should have heeded the warnings. Sad... Also, it was weird because the gray I purchased was the dark-to-light shaded color that appeared in the image, but what I actually got was a solid light gray.
