Customer Reviews
Perfect perfume
I bought this perfume merely because I love Pink Sugar, but it is the scent my sister uses. I read reviews stating that if you like Pink Sugar and you like chocolate, you'll like Chocolovers and I do. The moment it came I opened the package and sprayed some on. It starts out with a light chocolate and citrus scent. The citrus part doesn't last very long, but the chocolate become a bit nuttier. It also has patchouli, I believe and that makes the scent more grown up. My husband loves this scent and I can't get enough. It lasts forever, but seems to be slightly different each time I smell my wrists. I would strongly recommend if you like chocolate but don't want to smell like brownies and want something with a bit of sophistication.
Chocolate!
If you love a chocolate smell, you will go crazy for this. I recommend it.
My favorite!
I have never gotten so many compliments as when I wear Chocolovers! It's light enough to not be overbearing, but it's got a seductive, sensual scent to it that you wouldn't expect. It doesn't smell like cookies or sugary frosting like a lot of vanilla based, or sweet treat inspired perfumes usually do. (So if you want that-- go for Pink Sugar by the same company.) I'd say it's more exotic and delectable... and EVERY time I wear it, I get complimented by men and women alike.
I like to make fragrances "my own", so to speak, so I often pair it with Amber Romance lotion and body spray from Victoria's Secret or Bath & Body Works Sensual Amber lotion (which is a bit heavier, so I don't use it as often). The Amber Romance and chocolate perfume compliment each other really well without being "too much". I don't think Chocolovers would smell as good if it was layered with it's own lotion... it might come off a little strange and too heavy.
I would definitely recommend this perfume to spice up an evening! I use mine day and night... and strangely enough-- it actually curbs some of my cravings for sweets during the day! So, added little benefit there!
