Customer Reviews

the usual and the unusual.......5
I've yet to come up with a potential use for this marvelous stuff when it didn't fill-the-bill........ great help in all walks of life around the house and beyond.

Teens use it (it comes in colors too) to make very useful, practical and tough wallets - quite a fad these days 'mongst our young 'uns. A granddaughter made a pr of flip-flops with only duct tape and wears them to class at Ohio St!

I used a small circle to cover an upcoming wart on my chin and within a week the wart was never to be seen/found again. It was completely done away with. How simple, easy, cheap is that?

Have you tried reattaching a skirt or pant hem that's unraveling? Works. Or even a hole in your sock with a patch on both sides (inside and outside) of the sock? Works.

Handy Stuff.5
I've had a roll of this duct tape around the house for at least five years and it's apparently of this same brand. I'm not certain where I got it, but it's a very handy thing to have around. You just never know when you might be able to use something like this. For example, recently I had a window broken, but not shattered. I used this duct tape to fasten the pieces together, until I finally got around to putting in a new window. The tape worked fine. I've also used it to tape boxes for postal shipping. I've used it in the garden and on the car. Believe it or not, I even used it to fasten a duct together. I was installing a exhaust vent from the kitchen stove hood to a roof vent. It worked splendidly, just as intended. The list of things could go on and on.

This is handy stuff. Every house should have a roll or two, for whatever. I buy so little of it that I have no idea what the merits of the different brands might be. I just happened to pick this one off a shelf and it works rather well. A plumber might be better versed in the nuances of the different brands. This is a product that is inexpensive, goes a long way and it has worked fine for me in a wide variety of ways. What more could I ask?

Overpriced1
This duct tape was $8.97, when stupidly I could have bought some at Wal-Mart for 2-4 bucks. Nothing special about this duct tape either, not that there should be.

Costs $3.99 but also costs $4.99 to ship the damn thing. Just get some duct tape at the store you hermit.

-4 stars due to high shipping cost.
