Arche Shoes is a family-owned company which has been in existence for almost 40 years. Based in the Castle of La Loire region in France, the Arche brand was founded by Pierre Robert Hélaine, a true visionary who imagined and designed his shoes with the well being of men and women in mind. The brand became renowned in the industry after launching shoes with natural latex soles that exhibited an extraordinary suppleness, comfort and a lightweight feel. Arche concentrates on the natural design experience, believing that because nature has its own ways, there is no need to reproduce its perfection with technology. Design focuses on shapes and the principles of biomorphic design, which together with noble and natural materials are Arche's hallmark. large, but very comfortable
As with other Arche products, these boots run very large and would strongly recommend purchasing a size down from your norm if using the typical US sizing. Needless to say, like other Arche products, this is a beautifully designed and constructed product. Although they have a wedge of 1.5 inch, they are profoundly comfortable, even after walking around the city streets for a day. As noted, pre-treating the suede is essential.

Very cool little bootie
This is a beautifully made shoe, as are all shoes from Arche. The color is a little unusual, which is good because it creates some interest, but it makes these shoes better for creating an outfit around the color as opposed to wearing them as an everyday basic. They fit beautifully and are very comfortable. Protect them - the suede is easy to stain.
