Wi-Fi ready, with home wireless network, you can surf the Net, play others, or buy games online. Games available online include many old school systems: NeoGeo, N64, SNES, Genesis, TurboDuo, and NES.

The Wii requires a "sensor bar" to be under the TV. It's actually just a big infrared flashlight, no active sensing involved. Great if you have a projection TV or if your Wii isn't near your TV. Will eat batteries.

Recommended, but optional. If you use your Wii Fit regularly, you're going to have to recharge it's batteries too.

Old-shool shooter. Asteroids meets Tempest 2000. Uses Remote and Nunchuk, one moves, one aims and fires. Simple graphics, simple but fast game play. Beautiful and addictive.

Continues the Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime Echoes series from the GameCube. Good story, great art. Word is the final chapter has great control, but is more shooter and less puzzler than previous chapters. C'mon it's Metroid! Note: most gun attachments will not work with this game.

If you are a Mario Kart fan it's more of the same great game, except now you hold can hold the Wheel or your Nunchuk controller. Plus there's motorbikes and online competition play. More fun with the wheel, but you can play with just the remote and Nunchuk controller. Only 2 players in the same room, but can have up to 10 or 12 online if you are connected.

It's House of Dead 2 and 3 from the arcades. Use your Wii Remote to shoot zombies and other monsters. Fun if you like blasting zombies. You can buy a light-gun or Zapper attachement, but they are probably not worth the extra cost.

Haven't played this one, but it looks cool. Go scuba diving. That's it. The more scuba skills, fish and places you identify, the more locations and activities you unlock. Still mostly swimming and looking at fish. If you want action -- see above.
