lavender soy candle
This is the best bargain for a quality, soy candle on the internet. I'm a search, savvy, bargain shopper and know the difference between quality essential oils. If they aren't, I get a headache and the scent doesn't work. Not the case here. I enjoyed my first purchase so much, I ordered a dozen the next time. I burn the candles daily for relaxation and sheer pleasure and give them as gifts. Similar candles retail for $20.

Gourmet Vanilla Soy Candle
Although inexpensive, in this case price did not matter as the product failed to meet any expectations. First, the scent was barely recognizable, very weak and not a good quality vanilla scent. Nor did it fill the room with it's aroma as soy candles have a reputation of doing so with pleasant subtlety. Secondly, the candle smoked so severely the room was actually smokey after burning for only an hour. One knows they take a chance when purchasing a scented candle without actually smelling it, in this case, at least when it comes to Gourmet Vanilla (and I can only assume other scents as well, because how hard is it to get vanilla right?) Regardless of how inexpensive they may be, do NOT waste your money, as the old saying goes "You get what you pay for" is proved in point with this product.

The smells on these candles are all fabulous. Very light, and not overpowering. I think I got a great deal on them!
