Customer Reviews
I really enjoyed it
I liked this book, and think it'll come in handy to anyone who has a love of scrapbooking. I'm intermediate, but I don't know a lot of the tricks of scrapping, and this helped. It also gave some layout ideas. Great tool to utilize.
Just when I thought...
Just when I thought there were no more new techniques to try, this book proved me wrong! There are many new things to be seen, and I can use them for both cardmaking and scrapbooking. Best of all, I can use materials I already have to make new embellishments. Try it, you may like it!
Page upon page of great ideas
Almost 300 pages of wonderfully creative ideas for any scrapbook page are what this book provides. There are so many great tips and tricks that it is hard to list the best ones in a short review. Here are a few of them:
1. There is one complete chapter on setting up a scrapbooking space. If you can't use the whole idea, maybe a part of it will work in your space.
2. Do you like the "burnt edge" look but aren't sure how to get it without actually burning the paper? Page 106 tells you how.
3. How about a faux-metal affect? How do you make it? Page 194 will explain how.
4. Get a lot of fake credit cards in the mail? Be sure to keep a few and use them as glue spreaders.
5. And the best one, create your own marbleized paper. Page 190 walks you through the steps to create this wonderfully fun paper to use as backgrounds or accents.
Between the room and storage ideas and all the page ideas, I am in scrapbook hea
