Product Description

There are certain fundamental principles that govern in all human interactions and living in harmony with those principles or natural laws is absolutely essential for quality family life.  Dr. Stephen R. Covey has  watched over the past 50 years how the situation for marriage and family has changed powerfully and dramatically.

Consider the following:

·        Illegitimate birth rates have increased more than 400 percent.

·        The percentage of families headed by a single parent has more than tripled.

·        The divorce rate has more than doubled. Many project that about half of all new marriages will end in divorce.

·        Teenage suicide has increased almost 300 percent.

·        Scholastic Aptitude Test scores among all students have dropped 73 points.

·        The number one health problem for American women today is domestic violence. Four million women are beaten each year by their partners.

·        In the midst of all this, the percentage of families with one parent at home with the children during the day has dropped from 66.7 to 16.9 percent.

The challenge has changed in our society affecting our homes and marriages, so we must develop a response that is equal to the challenge.

The desire to create a strong marriage and family is not enough. We need a new mind-set, a new skill-set and a new tool-set to deal with the change.  The challenge has taken a quantum leap, and if we are to respond effectively, so must we.

The 7 Habits framework represents just such a mind-set and skill-set. Many couples and families are using the principles in the 7 Habits framework to grow stronger and stay on track.

Down to earth tips on strengthening marriage4
These CD's helped me realize that the knowledgeable people who are striving to write material to help the rest of us improve our marriages have the real life experiences and situations to back it up. Their wives are extremely honest in telling us the dumb things their husbands did as well. Because of their honesty, I could relate to what they were saying and I paid better attention to their advice. They have some great stories and good advice on how I can use the 7 Habits in my marriage. It is a good reminder that the 7 Habits work in all varieties of relationships. I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about improving their their skills in dealing with relationships.

Great Information for a Successful Marriage5
The Audio provided a informative realistic approach that couples can use to strengthen their communication in efforts to strengthen their marriage. I would highly recommend this Audio for any married couples, or prospective couples who are seeking marriage.

Always the Same Old 7 Habits Stuff!!3
Try The Relationship Cure: A 5 Step Guide to Strengthening Your Marriage, Family, and Friendships (Audio Download). The real Marriage Expert is there! Not this 7 Habits audiobook.

This 7 Habits of Highly Effective Marriage audio is boring, and not well organized in terms of content--4 speakers, 4 kinds of jumping, chopping up of different, yet tried-to-be-linked up content.

Covey family is lacking of new stuff to say, imposing 7 Habits on too many walks of life. If you have read or listened to 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families, skip this, since a lot of overlapped content.
