About the Artist
Kimberly Wilson is a teacher, designer, author, activist, and entrepreneur. Kimberly launched the Tranquil Space Foundation to assist young girls in finding their inner voice through yoga, creativity, and leadership. Not as intense as I would like
This CD is the best home yoga practice I have found. Still, it is not nearly as tough of a workout as I would like. For me, it seems like a toned-down version of a level 1 class at Tranquil Space. I feel as though it spends more time on the floor (stretching hamstrings, feet up the wall, etc.) than it does on things like sun salutations. But, for the money, it's worth it. It's enough of a yoga session to make you feel that you've done something. And, not so much that you're not motivated to set time aside to do it.

Perfect for building a practice outside the studio
This is perfect for the busy yogi who at times spend more time in hotels, airplanes, and any place other than your yoga studio. The CD contains a complete practice, or can be programmed for a shorter duration of time if this is all the time you have. I've found myself listening to the CD during the day when it's hectic at work as a way to breathe. The music also helps get you in a chill and relax environment no matter where you are. If you can't make it to Tranquil Space in Dupont, this CD is the next best thing.

A great guide for an out-of-studio practice with a hip and inspirational twist!
Until I tried this CD, I had no motivation to start a home yoga practice. Now I do! Kimberly's CD is like having a expert instructor come into your home, along with accompanying musicians. Her voice is soothing, and her directions are clear and concise. Illustrations on the inside of the CD cover help demonstrate the moves she takes you through. The CD is designed so that you can follow it from start to finish or mix and match segments depending on your mood and the areas you want to concentrate on. (The CD cover provides a helpful checklist of how you can combine various segments.) The music is varied and helps keep you in your yogic flow. The affirmation and inspiration in the last segment are especially uplifting and applicable to daily life. They help set this CD (and all of Kimberly's materials) apart from other yoga guides. It's pefect for the yogi or yogini looking for a little inspiration for an out-of-studio practice.
