Good graphic card
This is a great card for your money, it plays most of new games like Gears of War, Crysys, Unreal 3, Bioshock and others.

This is not a top graphics card, but a great medium card for the price.

El rendimiento de esta tarjeta es muy bueno, claro que no se compara con las de gama alta, pero he podido jugar Crysis sin ningun problema(terminado 2 veces), Timeshift, Gears of Wars, Hellgate London, NFS Most Wanted y Carbon y puedo certificar que todos los juegos han corrido excelente, la recomiendo.
Si eres alguien de bajo presupuesto y te gustan los juegos, esta es la tarjeta!!!.
Nota: Por ser una tarjeta con Overcloking, la temperatura es alta en los juegos asi que no se asusten si la ven llegar casi a los 68ºC

Works great with linux
After getting completely frustrated with trying to tweak my ATI card to actually do its job with my Ubuntu and openSuSE linux setup, I took the advice of everyone and opted with an Nvidia card. The difference was AMAZING. All I had to do was plug in the card, run a setup utility and the card was doing its job. Nvidia has done a great job making their cards work with linux (providing great drivers and setup utilities) and tweaking settings was so simple. Within minutes, I got my two screens running 3D acceleration with Compiz desktop effects.
Specifically, this 8600GT is a great workhorse. Lots of power to do some impressive 3D work, dual-DVI output for great high-resolution HD viewing and a TV output that also is so easy to setup in linux.
The only complaint I have is that this vendor decided to put a monstrous fan on the GPU and I can really hear it. Its not even like my box was whisper quiet before, I already had a couple fans in there. But its not like I really care since my music usually drowns it out anyways.
