awesome!5
This is an awesome running shoe! It is being touted priamrily for its cushioning and secondarily for its stability with true sizing. I wanted a cushioning shoe because I run on pavement and because the impact of each step is 3x my body weight. Cushioning is preventative for further injuries. I broke my shoes in with a 5 mile run - no blisters, hot spots, etc! Also, the big news is that my plantar fasciitis was not aggravated or exaserbated. Super cushiony. Slightly stiff at the get go, but that'll be gone after a few runs. HOWEVER, I did also buy a running insert/insole that I'm using instead of the insole that came with the shoes. It absorbs impact way better. I thought I was just getting old because my knees would ache after each run so I could no longer run every day anymore. Also, I was developing strange pains in strange places in my feet when I ran. Turns out, it was my old shoes. If you're looking for a cushioning comfortable ride, look no farther. The only downside is the price tag.

best of both stability and cushion5
I've had Asics Kayanos every year for 6 years. They keep making them better and better. This model is roomier in the toe box than previous models, but is not sloppy. The colors on this model are stylish, so even after putting 600 miles on them I will probably wear them as every day sneakers.

They've gone and changed perfection.2
I remember slipping into my first pair of Kayano 13's and they were heaven. The 13's are the perfect width, have wonderful cushioning and my feet are never tired or achy after a run. I was thrilled about these new 14's and couldn't wait to buy a pair. Until I tried a pair on the other day. Asics has narrowed the toe box and heel, it doesn't feel as cushy and they're just not as nice. I think I had better stock up on my 13's before they're hard to come by. If you're a 13 fan, I recommend actually trying these 14's on before buying them online!
