Customer Reviews
Great for narrow heels and wide toe box
I run at least 15 miles a week and up to 30 or so, and I've finally settled on Asics. I have to have a wide toe box, so many of the other brands just don't work for me. The Nike Air Pegasus were fine, but they weren't quite as snug on my foot as the Asics. I have narrow heels/ankles, so finding a shoe that doesn't slip on the heel but isn't too tight across the top or too narrow in the toe box is hard. These fit the bill. I do lave my shoes differently to relief pressure on the top of my foot, though. I also use Easy Laces, which helps keep them snug. The cushioning is just right for me. Running shoes are personal, so you have to try a bunch to find the perfect pair. I'm still not crazy about the asymmetrical lacing they have gone to, but I got used to it. These worked better for me than the 9s because they did change something in the heel. It used to pinch (which is why I got the Nikes), but in these it's fine. I get 300-350 miles out of a pair of these shoes, which is 6 months max. That's pretty normal wear for me.
Feels Like Running On Clouds
I run about 11-14 miles a day and these are by far the most comfortable shoes on the marked for someone with normal/mild pronation. My feet have fairly high arches and are wide at the toe but narrow at the heels, so it's always been difficult for me to find a pair of running shoes that won't give me blisters. The Nimbus 10's, however, are the first pair of running shoes I've used that fit properly - snug enough to prevent rubbing, but roomy enough to prevent cramping. They are durable, yet light weight; and the cushioned soles offer stable support in the areas that feet need it the most. Though they are pricy, if you're a serious runner or even someone who has a difficult time finding a comfortable pair of running shoes, I guarantee you these shoes are worth every penny!
Most awesome shoe I have ever owned
I am a nurse who works 12 hour shifts on concrete flooring and am on my feet the whole time either walking or standing to chart. These shoes were recommended to me by another nurse and I wore them to work right out of the box without breaking them in and my feet felt great when I got home. Prior to these shoes my feet hurt so bad when I got home from work and the next day that they felt bruised for a few days. Each step was excrutiating with any other shoes I tried. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet.
