Customer Reviews

Good but not great4
As a mother of a nursing 2 1/2 year old I look for books on the subject. This is a cute one probably more about weaning than nursing itself. Of course being a La leche league I'd support anyway. It is well illustrated and sensible. Good buy.

Nursing Toddlers - any book is a good book!4
When you have a nursing toddler, any book that shows other nursing toddlers, is a good book. Although I would have liked to see more "nursing", the authors' intentions are good. From a breastfeeding advocate's point of view - I love it! From a Mom's point of view - could have been a bit better. All in all, books about nursing toddlers are needed in a major way and this book attempts to fill that void.

not that special - kinda cheesy2
I am nursing a book-crazy [...] and wanted more books around that depict this as the natural, wholesome, lovely event that it is. From the other reviews it seemed that nursing was just one aspect - not the main focus - of the story and I liked that. That is - I would have liked it if there was any particular story. There is no plot. And I wouldn't mind that - if the writing was better (rhyme, meter, and transitions between concepts are all very awkward). And I wouldn't mind THAT - if the art was more appealing. (Mom has a weird 80's Prince and the Revolution hairdo, for one.)
I don't dig this book but my daughter thinks it's ok - hence, 2 stars.
